Kirje Tallinnalaisille ja Virolaisille kulttuuri ihmisille. Kirjeen pyrkimys on luoda yhteistyötä Turun ja Tallinnan alakulttuuripääkaupunki hankkeen ympärille.

Turku and Tallinn will be the culture-capitals in the same year 2011. We believe that the culture-capital city project is unfair to the subcultures and a that the culture-capital project, initiated by the Parliament of EU is an attempt to push the critical and un-institutional arts into the marginal. We believe that if the culture activist of Tallinn and Turku unite and develop a platform where we can discuss and share our knowledge, we can produce events which benefit and reinforce the subcultures in both cities.

This letter is an invitation to the keosto database which is a wiki for "alternative cultures", for announcements, discussions and organization of events which have little if any support from established cultural institutions. It is with this tool that we hope to develop concepts and plans which will aid the subculture activists in both cities.
